Home & navigation

Why did my readiness score change?⌄

It's calculated from four real signals — your Resume score, Role Fit, Interview practice, and Momentum — every time one of those improves. The bars under your score on Home show exactly which pillar moved.

Go to Home →
What is the journey stepper (Profile → Resume → Match & apply → Interview → Offer)?⌄

It reflects real progress: a stage marks done once you have a real resume score, a job match, or interview practice on file — it's not something you check off manually.

Go to Home →
How do I switch between light and dark theme?⌄

Click the sun/moon icon in the top-right of the navigation bar. Your choice is saved on this device.

Where do I find a specific tool?⌄

Every tool is listed in the top navigation, on the Home dashboard's outcome grid, and on the All tools page.

Go to All tools →

Job Match

How does Job Match work?⌄

Paste your resume text and a job description (at least 50 characters each) and it scores your fit, listing which skills already match and which are missing.

Go to Job Match →
What happens to the skills it says I'm missing?⌄

They're automatically added to Skill Growth so you can track and close them over time — you don't need to do anything extra.

Go to Skill Growth →

Resume

What does the Resume tool check?⌄

Paste at least 50 characters of resume text (and optionally a target job title) for an AI-scored analysis of strengths and gaps.

Go to Resume →
Is my resume content stored anywhere?⌄

No — it's sent to our AI processing pipeline only for the analysis you request, and isn't stored or shared beyond that.

Skill Growth

Where do skill gaps come from?⌄

Every Job Match you run feeds real missing/matching skills into Skill Growth automatically — nothing here is manually entered.

Go to Job Match →
What does "Mark addressed" do?⌄

It marks that gap as closed once your resume or skills actually cover it, moving it from Open into Completed and recalculating your readiness score.

Go to Skill Growth →

Interview Prep

How do I generate interview questions?⌄

Paste a job description (30+ characters) and optionally a job title — you'll get a tailored question set, and can request a full answer guide for any of them.

Go to Interview Prep →

Career Coach

What can I ask the Career Coach?⌄

Anything about your search — pay, negotiation, growth, switching roles, or a difficult manager. It gives a direct recommendation, reasoning, and concrete next actions.

Go to Career Coach →
What does "Personalize your answers" do?⌄

It lets you set your role, location, experience, and salary so advice is grounded in your actual situation instead of generic guidance — some of this is prefilled from your onboarding answers.

Go to Career Coach →
Does it remember earlier questions?⌄

Yes — follow-up questions build on the specific advice already given in that session, and each answer suggests real follow-ups you can tap.

Negotiate & Compare

What does Negotiate do?⌄

Analyzes an offer you enter (role, location, experience, offered/current salary) for a rating and risk read, then can draft a negotiation message in the tone you choose.

Go to Negotiate →
What does Compare do?⌄

Weighs two roles or offers you enter side by side on the factors that matter, with a clear recommendation.

Go to Compare →

Billing & credits

How do I see my current credits?⌄

The Credits card at the top of Billing shows your current balance, how much you've used this cycle, and your renewal date.

Go to Billing →
How do I get more credits?⌄

Choose a plan or a one-time credit pack on the Billing page. If pricing isn't showing yet, web purchases are still being rolled out — check back soon.

Go to Billing →
What does "Borrow credits" do?⌄

On an annual plan, once this month's allocation is running low you can borrow ahead from next month's — it only appears when you're actually eligible.
